Although hemodialysis patients need to avoid strenuous exercise, the right amount of exercise has a positive effect on improving the body's immunity and promoting blood circulation.


1. Choose the type of exercise that works for you

Patients can under the guidance of doctors, choose their own exercise, such as walking, tai chi, yoga and so on. These exercises are moderate in intensity and can achieve exercise results without putting a burden on the body.


2. Schedule exercise wisely

Patients can schedule exercise between dialysis periods, such as the day before dialysis or the day after dialysis. Avoid exercise on the day of dialysis to avoid aggravating physical fatigue. At the same time, warm up before exercise to avoid injury; Pay close attention to your physical condition during exercise, and if you feel uncomfortable, stop immediately and seek medical attention.


3. Set exercise goals

Patients can set reasonable exercise goals according to their physical condition, such as walking 30 minutes a day, practicing tai chi twice a week, etc. Setting goals can help motivate exercise and make it a part of your life.
