Precautions for initial hemodialysis

1.  At the beginning of dialysis, several short-time dialysis is used, and gradually transition. In principle, the first time is 2 hours, the second time is 3 hours, and then gradually increase to 4 hours. After 1-2 weeks of induction, regular dialysis can be entered (3 times a week is appropriate).

2.  For the first time dialysis patients should slowly increase the blood flow, gradually adapt to reduce the comprehensive reaction. Blood pressure is measured every 30-60 minutes during treatment to closely observe changes in the condition.

3.  At the beginning of dialysis, there may be the first dialysis imbalance syndrome, such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, cramps, chest tightness, chest pain, cold sweat, skin itching, abdominal pain, back pain and other discomfort, should be reported to the medical staff in time, so as to give appropriate treatment as soon as possible.
